The Power of Preservation PROMenade & Pachanga fundraiser gala showcased the significance that preservation has played in the city’s historical, cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability. With title sponsor Glazer’s Distributing, VIP Reception sponsor San Antonio River Authority, Welcoming Sponsor CPS Energy, and many other partners and sponsors, the Power of Preservation coalition presented three honors to Preservationistas who have furthered the cause to preserve San Antonio’s history, culture, and landscape. Honorees are UTSA educator Sue Ann Pemberton, Conservation Society Executive Director Bruce MacDougal, and Silver Ventures, owners and developers of the Pearl. The event included a VIP cocktail party, awards dinner, dancing, and an exciting after party. The attire was traditional black tie, but guests were also encouraged to dress in “Roaring 20s” period attire!
